Time is turbulent - the role of traditional journals is questioned (1).
The Rondel is an electronic quarterly, owner Pedagogforlaget, editor and editorial board
from the team behind "Kontroverser kring vitamin B12". Indeed, one aim of The
Rondel is to prepare the publishing of the debate book mentioned in English.
The over-riding objective of The Rondel is to kindle the exchange of facts and views about
methionine metabolism, care and chemistry. The clinical context is mainly focussed on
deficiency states amendable by supplementation with cobalamin, folate, pyridoxine. The
bearer of a malnutrition, malabsorption, or malmetabolism is a brother (sister) in need of
some human support.
The first issue of The Rondel provides some puzzling cases, a clinical evaluation, news
from SPRI, a note on the structure of Swedish Health care.
Contributions from the readers are welcome, see "Instructions for authors".
Since electronic journals are read by many outside thealth care (1), case reports will be
styled and authors´ names omitted in order to avoid identification of individual
patients.
The target group of The Rondel is the physicians of primary health care worldwide.
Preferred language is American English. Due to history and tradition, a Swedish version is
the basis of each issue. The Swedish version and the English version are analogous but not
identical.
